World Food Policy
World Food Policy (WFP) is a multidisciplinary academic journal published semiannually by Wiley, dedicated to disseminating research focused on food security. The journal places particular emphasis on contemporary issues closely linked to food security, such as climate change, gender equity, armed conflicts, and both national and international policies, among others. WFP is aimed at a broad and diverse audience, including students, scholars, sector professionals, and readers with an interest in the field of food security.
We welcome contributions from all disciplines within the social sciences, provided they offer a clear and rigorous contribution to the food security debate. We value methodological pluralism and require high scientific standards in all published work.
Policy Studies Organization
The Policy Studies Organization (PSO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing scholarship and fostering multidisciplinary dialogue on a broad spectrum of policy issues. Through academic journals, books, and conferences, PSO aims to support those involved in the development and evaluation of policy. Originally established as an extension of the American Political Science Association, PSO was created to serve scholars from diverse fields who share an interest in the study and discussion of public and organizational policy.
The Policy Studies Organization (PSO), affiliated with the American, Midwest, Southern, and International Political Science Associations, as well as the International Studies Association, was founded out of a shared concern: the need for stronger connections between policy researchers and policy makers. PSO was established to ensure that research findings are effectively communicated to those shaping policies—not only in government, but also within corporations, universities, and other institutions. This initiative was not driven by a utilitarian agenda, but by the belief that informed policies can lead to tangible benefits for individuals and communities across the world.
Political Science and Public Administration
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Political Science and Public Administration program, and as part of the celebrations, we are partnering with PSO and WFP to host the First International Conference on Food Security. Hosted by our university, the event will bring together leading experts, including speakers from the FAO and the UN World Food Programme (WFP), and feature more than ten thematic panels addressing sociopolitical and health-related issues.
Join us in May 2026 to celebrate two decades of academic excellence and engage in discussions on critical global challenges!
